A Broadwater Resort Busselton Review – Awesome Pools

Last Updated on 7 January 2025 by Ariana Svenson

We’ve wanted to stay at the Broadwater Resort Busselton quite literally for ever!  Well – ever since our first Busselton weekend getaway with our first baby who was just 12 months at the time!  However, as the Broadwater Resort Busselton is SO popular we’ve never managed to get a booking.

Therefore, we were thrilled when on a recent last-minute getaway we were able to get a 2 bedroom Loft Villa and would be able to answer the question, “Why is this Busselton accommodation so very popular?”

Check on Booking.com to see the latest prices to stay at the Broadwater Resort Busselton.

Broadwater Resort Busselton Review

The Broadwater Resort is a lovely, leafy resort with a series of two-story apartments clustered around an attractive pool and BBQ area.  The outdoor pool is of ample size, while the indoor pool is a real highlight!  For us, a winter escape in south-west Australia is made so much more fun with an indoor heated pool.  This is another of the reasons why we definitely wanted to stay at the Broadwater Resort Busselton!  Their pool is warm and gorgeous!

In addition, the resort is located a short walk from the lovely Geographe Bay  – you get exclusive beach access and just outside of the resort grounds is a basic but fun public playground.   The kids also enjoyed the games room, located adjacent to the pool area.  It has arcade games, skill testers, a pool table and air hockey – with the games starting from $1.

You can also book the outdoor tennis courts  during your stay, bookings are made at reception.

In addition, located on the corner of the resort – less than 3 minutes’ walk – the Broadwater Shopping Village with an IGA (Grocery Supermarket) and chemist, meaning it is super easy to stock up on supplies after arriving at the resort.

The Room – Broadwater Resort Busselton

There is a variety of rooms on offer at the Broadwater Resort. Best for families are the 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments.  We chose a Loft 2 bedroom apartment which was slightly cheaper than a standard 2 bedroom rates, and were very happy with the choice. As were the kids who absolutely LOVED their cute little room. Overall the room was very nice, but did so some signs of age/ wear and tear.

In addition, while not being overly spacious (compared to some neighboring resorts) the apartments have a small television room and a well-equipped kitchen.

Bathrooms are ample; we had a spa in ours!

Meals – Broadwater Resort Busselton

The Broadwater Resort Busselton is self-catering! This is of definite appeal for budget-conscious families such as us!  We purposely pick self-contained accommodation, so we can cook and save on costs.

However, we did swing past the bar at the Broadwater Resort and despite it being a quiet weekend it seemed well patronized.  The food smelt delicious and the portions looked a good size. We could imagine the outside area buzzing in summer.  For more information check out the Stilts Restaurant website here.
