Bartholomew’s Meadery was in Denmark before it was a popular destination, and its product is uniquely Danish. Its hives are kept in the most pristine forests and natural bushland of the southwest, providing unique flavours. Better still, it adheres to organic guidelines.

Our kids LOVE the glass beehive, where you can spot the queen. Of course, we all love the ice cream and getting a pot of honey to take home.

The Dam is a large venue with lots of seating inside and out. There is frequent live music on the weekends, and this is a great place to catch up with friends.

The Dam is unique as it’s a distillery, restaurant, and bar that offers cocktails using Its spirits, local wines, and local beers on tap.

There have been reports that it is hectic, and the menu is not that extensive, but that wouldn’t stop us from having a meal there! Dogs are allowed on leashes outside.

22. The Boston Brewery

We’ve been to the Boston Brewery many times, and we love it! Known as a Brew Pub, locals affectionately call it “Boston.” We particularly love the wood-fired pizzas with their light, crispy crust and delicious toppings.
