One of the best ways to see the lake is on a scenic flight. Fly Esperance has several daily departures, and you can fly over remote locations and spot hidden gems.
Why is Pink Lake Esperance Not Pink? The pink colour was historically caused by certain algae and high salt levels in the water. Over the past few decades, changes in water flow have reduced the amount of salt, and human activity has altered the lake’s ecosystem.
